Website Visitor Identification (Snitcher)
We use Snitcher, a B2B visitor identification service provided by Snitcher B.V., to understand which organizations visit our website and how they interact with our content.
Snitcher processes technical and usage information, including IP address, browser information, visited pages, referrer information, and session-related information. The service helps us identify the company associated with a visit and analyze website usage at an organizational level.
The purpose of processing is lead generation, sales development, website analytics, and improvement of our products and services.
Depending on the applicable jurisdiction and implementation, processing is based on either the visitor's consent or our legitimate interest in promoting and improving our business.

Anonymous Traffic Measurement
Separately from cookies, we keep a count of how our own pages are used. This runs on our servers, sets nothing on your device and does not require your consent, because it is not capable of identifying you.
For each page request we add one to a set of daily counters: the page address, the website that linked to you, any campaign tag in the link, the type of device, and the country reported by our content delivery network. We store totals per day, never a record of an individual visit, and never the query string of the address you visited.
To count people rather than page views, your IP address and browser identifier are combined with a secret value and the current date, and turned into an irreversible code. The code changes every day by design, so the same visitor on two days cannot be recognised as the same person, and it cannot be turned back into your IP address. The codes are converted into a plain daily total and deleted within a week.
We do not build profiles, we do not track you across other websites, and none of this is shared with advertising networks. The full list of what is recorded is in this section; if it ever grows, this page changes with it.
Newsletter Communications
If you subscribe to our newsletter, we will process your email address and, where provided, your name for the purpose of sending news, product updates, event invitations, security insights, and marketing communications related to Eve Security. The legal basis for this processing is your consent, which you may withdraw at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link included in every newsletter or by contacting us at info@eve.security. We use appropriate service providers to deliver newsletters on our behalf under applicable data processing agreements. Your personal data will be retained until you unsubscribe or withdraw your consent.
Google Analytics and campaign attribution
We use Google Analytics to measure page visits, interactions and successful form submissions. Before you grant Analytics consent, and when you refuse it, Google receives limited measurement signals without reading or writing Analytics cookies. These signals can include page and referring addresses, timestamps, browser information and the consent state. Google may use them to estimate traffic and conversions. We do not include names entered in forms, email addresses or phone numbers in our custom analytics event parameters. Advertising storage, advertising user data and advertising personalization remain disabled.
When you grant Analytics consent, Google Analytics may use cookies to recognize visits. We also store campaign attribution in the eve_attr cookie for up to 180 days and attach it to a form submission to understand how a lead found us. This cookie is not created before Analytics consent and is removed when you withdraw that consent. Attribution from an earlier visit without consent is not reconstructed.
Snitcher consent choices
Snitcher measures company visits with temporary session storage before Marketing consent. It does not persist visitor recognition across browser sessions until you grant Marketing consent. After consent, its device cookie and associated browser storage can recognize returning browsers. Refusing or withdrawing Marketing consent tells Snitcher to remove persistent identity. Company measurement can continue without persistent recognition.
You can change your choices using Cookie settings in the footer. Refusing Analytics cookies does not stop limited Google measurement or our own aggregate traffic counter. Form submissions are processed to respond to your request regardless of your Analytics choice.
